The startup ecosystem is flooded with panels, pitch nights and polite small talk over warm drinks. What it lacks are places for deep, honest connection.

That's why we built Sweat x Equity: curated, workout-driven events for founders, investors and operators. We train together first, so barriers drop fast and the conversations afterwards actually matter.

Born in Vienna, Sweat x Equity is now attracting requests from across Europe and beyond. The ambition is clear: grow this movement into a venture with international reach.

We're growing faster than we can keep up with. The feedback from our sessions has been outstanding, and we've seen similar formats grow into internationally recognised success stories. We're convinced Sweat x Equity can do the same.

We, Niklas, Antonia and Jakob, built this community alongside our day jobs in the startup ecosystem. Now it needs someone with the ambition, energy and entrepreneurial mindset to give it full attention and take it to a whole new level.

For that, we need you.

As our Network & Community Lead, you take ownership of the network: its people, its story and its reach. You'll work directly with our co-founders.

This is not a side gig with a fancy title. You get a seat at the table while the table is still being built. This means you will carry overall responsibility for Sweat x Equity's growth from day one. As Sweat x Equity scales, this role is built to grow into the Managing Director position.

Deepen the offering

Develop the Sweat x Equity experience beyond the workout: formats, member benefits, partnerships and touchpoints between events. Contribute ideas to event planning together with Jakob and Antonia. You plan and shape; our trainers run the sessions. Build and test the products, formats and business model that turn the community into a venture.

Act as the connective tissue of the network: onboarding members, curating who's in the room and making introductions that count. Keep relationships with founders, investors and partners personal, warm and valuable. Turn people who train together into a community that shows up for each other

You write sharply, think in stories and know that a post, a press pitch and a personal DM each need their own voice. You have an eye for design. Typography, imagery and layout matter to you, and you're eager to create on-brand visuals yourself. You're a natural connector. You remember names, follow up without being asked and love bringing the right people together. You think like an owner. You spot a gap, propose a fix and run with it. Ambiguity energises you. You're curious about startups and venture capital and want to understand how founders and investors really operate. Ideally, you're currently in a Bachelor's or Master's programme and want to build something real alongside your studies. Fluent English is a must. German is a strong plus.
